This is the second try to post - we are here - my lengthy explanation went into draft and wouldn't post. The trip was fine. We are in a nice town called Marburg for three nights, quaint, no airconditioning, small hotel. This is a very nice internet cafe next door to the hotel, but pretty expensive, so I probably won't post again until Sunday evening.
Love to all,
Judy

Hi Judy! Been praying for you and thinking of you often! Don drove mom & dad out to Indiana and they have been working at Sallie's on getting the electric service moved from the old shed to the new garage. Tim had run a plastic pipe underground with all the wires and they had to try and find it, dig it up, and move it! Don't know how far they got yesterday. They hope to finish up all that AND do insulation and drywall today. Pretty ambitious. I injured my back somehow picking beans Monday night, so it's been a tough go, especially with Don gone. Had 2 visits with the chiropractor and I can at least waddle now instead of crawling on the floor! Have a wonderful time. I hope you make some new friends on this trip, too! Hugs, Donna
Good morning...It's Sunday and I am still nursing my back injury...spasms come and go. Yesterday Tim came over to work on my Christmas gift (new pantry) and several hours later Aaron showed up with the boys. They all went out and picked the rest of our beans...they got 3 1/2 paper grocery bags full! We all spent the rest of the afternoon snapping and processing them....7 gallon bags and 20+ quarts. I told the boys to divide it up between them for their families. I so appreciated their help and that the food didn't go to waste. Then Abi had us all over to celebrate her birthday. Aaron grilled London Broil and we had sweet corn and of course, beans! She also made a Tiramisu cheesecake. It was a memorable day to say the least! Trust all is going well on your journey. Can't wait to hear when you have time to post. Love, Donna
